Job Description: About the Lydia Green Nursing Program: The Lydia Green Nursing Program is a part of theCollege of Applied and Natural Sciences (CANS) and includes a vibrant undergraduate BSN program. Our nursing program isset apart by the integration of robust academics and relationship-centered learning that is grounded in Christian faith and values. The program and our graduates are highly regarded by the surrounding regional healthcare community. The nursing programs isapproved by the Washington State Board of Nursing (WABON) and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Job Description: We are accepting applications for adjunct faculty for clinical teaching in the following areas: • Undergraduate, pre-licensure: acute care (adults), pediatrics, obstetrics, community health and psych-mental health. Teaching in these courses provides an opportunity to work closely with students in the clinical setting, with preceptors, and other SPU faculty to ensure transformative clinical learning experiences. Requirements: • Master's degree in nursing or closely related field. • Unencumbered license as registered nurse in the State of Washington. • For undergraduate clinical teaching, BSN applicants with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the clinical subject area will be considered. • Commitment to support active, participatory learning experiences. • Personal commitment to Christian faith, enthusiasmabout supportingSPU's mission, alignmentwith theUniversity's Statement of Faith, and willingnessto accept the lifestyle standards of the community.
