About the position Responsibilities • Monitor intercompany activities, including investments in subsidiaries and common stock, A/R and A/P, and royalty and license fees. • Perform monthly/quarterly close and reporting tasks and prepare documents to support SEC filings. • Train and support the Rotational Development Partners (RDPs) who rotate through the team. • Work on cross-functional initiatives that impact legal entities across the globe. Requirements • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. • Attention to detail. • Effective customer service skills. • Ability to interact effectively at various levels of the organization. • Experience with computerized general ledger systems (e.g. Oracle or other ERP). • Ability to prioritize and document work performed. • Intermediate level analytical skills. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience. • 2 years general accounting at professional level, including journal entries, account reconciliations and reporting. Nice-to-haves • Experience with consolidations and eliminations. • Experience with intercompany transactions. • Experience with foreign exchange accounting. • Experience with legal entity accounting.
