Account Development Representative
Hytec Dealer Services is seeking an Account Development Representative to support existing customers and drive new sales within their territory. The role involves regular communication with customers to promote services and products, while also working to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth. Responsibilities Works to provide answers to daily questions from customers To notify customers of any changes to an existing order Make routine calls and promotional mailings to customers to build the business partnership between Hytec and customer Contact all accounts on a regular basis to solicit the customer to utilize all required services offered by Hytec, including repair services, board exchanges, board bank, direct sale purchases such as hard drives and power protection Contact Purchasing Manager, Service Manager and VP of Service at Major Accounts within the territory to build a rapport with each contact Determine qualified prospects within territory and complete the sales cycle from beginning to end with each prospect, including mailings, calls, visits, proposals, presentations, etc Establish and maintain account set up in IFS, reports and email notifications to meet customer requirements Remain advised of competition activity and industry events Represent Hytec in face-to-face sales and prospecting trips, and at various industry trade shows Work along with other sales personnel on training and improvement of sales and presentation skills, including closing techniques and general sales responsibilities To provide support to Order Fulfillment Coordinator and OEM Customer Service Administrator as needed Skills Previous customer service experience or current Hytec employee Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage territory effectively through strategic planning and analysis skills Self-motivated with a proactive approach to building relationships and closing deals Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or inside sales with a focus on technology or product solutions Strong knowledge of CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms Experience with lead generation techniques including cold calling and networking Familiarity with account management, upselling strategies, and product demos Demonstrated success in business development, customer service, and sales management roles Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Company Overview In 1981, Hytec began Canon and Sharp circuit board repair as a division of Delta Business Systems, Inc.
